Membership
Each year a few garden plots become available to new members. Before filling out the application form and submitting payment, please send us an email by using the contact page (see menu above) to get in the queue for a plot. Once you receive confirmation of a plot assigned to you, then proceed with the following instructions. Membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.
Please click here to download a printable membership form. This form may be dropped off at Gulf Port Free Mail (please note that the Free Mail has temporarily closed due to Covid-19 concerns) with a cheque payable to "Mayne Island Community Garden". Cheques need to have your plot number on them. Mark the envelope "Mayne Island Community Garden".
Please complete the membership form on-line (you can do so below). Once you have completed and submitted the on-line form, drop off a cheque as described above with a note saying you have submitted the membership form on-line. In addition, this year, printed forms may be also found at Gulf Port in a manila envelope market "Community Garden Forms" for those of you that cannot print a form yourself or decide not to use the online form below.
Dues may be sent via Interac Transfer to maynegarden@gmail.com. Name and Plot number MUST be noted in message box on e-transfer. If Interac is not an option for you, please use the contact form on this website to make alternate arrangements.
Please note: Community Garden Members are required to take out a membership with the Mayne Island Community Centre. These Memberships are available by contacting the Community Centre directly.
